Dear First, Second, and Third Grade Parents:
Insha Allah we are going to have Arabic written spelling bee on Monday April 30th (Arabic Day). I encourage all students to study hard in order to be able to participate. I also recommend that students take advantage of spring break and practice for the spelling Bee.
Here is the study guide:
First grade: Study all the 50 words (p 114 from the textbook). The student should study the spelling of each word (should be able to write any of the 50 words correctly) without the harakat or the shaddah and without the meaning.
Second grade: Study all the 100 words(p 114,115 from the textbook). The student should study the spelling of each word (should be able to write any of the 100 words correctly) without the harakat or the shaddah and without the meaning.
Third grade:Study the spelling of each sentences in the following pages from Al-Aafaaq #2 textbook: Pages( 11,19,27,34,41,49) without the harakat or the shaddah, and without the meaning. (Note): there will be challenging words from the rest of the book if needed.
There is a pre-test day to determine who is going to participate in the competition. The pre-test day is on Monday April 23 (Insha Allah).
