The Arabic Star Reader of the Month

Assalamu Alikum:

Dear 1st to 7th grade parents:
In order to improve our student’s reading ability, we created the Arabic Star Reader Competition.  Each month, students can read as many stories as he/she can, and whoever reads the most number of stories will be the “Arabic Star Reader of the Month” and will get a prize.  The competition will start on Friday Dec 9, and it will end on Tuesday  Jan 3.
There is a reading folder for each student. Additional stories will be added once the student finishes reading the folder. Extra stories are also available in each class. Please make sure to put the book’s name and the date you check the story out and the date you   sure to check the story that your child read and put the date as well on the index sheet.
Please note, “THIS IS NOT A REQUIERED PROJECT, However, the winner will get a certificate and a prize. His/her name will be announced in the Masjid on the first Friday of the next month. Parents are welcome to come and take pictures. Parents will be notified once their child wins”.
These are helpful links that I recommend to use when reading a story to help you find the meanings: go to: http://www.arabic-keyboard.org/, type the word in Arabic, then copy and paste it in this website: http://www.arabicenglishdictionary.org/ If you have any question, please contact your teacher.
